Why Baluchistan Tourism Needs Attention?

All around the world summer season is considered to be the most active season for tourism. The reason is quite obvious, people plan their trips to beautiful destinations to spend their holidays with their families and loved ones.

Pakistan is no different. Pakistan can also get many benefits from tourism; all that is needed is to pay some attention to our tourism industry. we can’t deny the beauty of Pakistan, it is like a hidden paradise. So, if higher authorities pay some time and effort to maintain these beautiful places, then it can benefit us a lot.

We all aware of the beauty of the northern zone and swat valley of Pakistan, it’s the Switzerland of Pakistan. But it is not all that Pakistan has to offer. There is a lot more, not only in the northern zone but also in other zones of Pakistan. All that needed is to maintain them, market them, reduce the threats of terrorism, and earn a lot from these charming places.

Baluchistan can also become a tourist attraction if it markets its beautiful destinations with dedication. Higher authorities should invest time and money to promote tourism in Baluchistan as it has great potential. Province Baluchistan has a lot of tourist attractions and a coastline of 750 kilometers. The province also has many other attractions, some of them are mentioned below:

Pir Ghayb (The Invisible Saint) Waterfalls – Bolan, Baluchistan

Pir Ghayb waterfall has breath-taking views. There= is a myth about Pir Ghayb among local people. According to this myth, there is an invisible saint who was saved by God from the attack of a devilish King’s men.

People also say that the saint struck a stick in the mountains from which waterfalls come out till the date. This waterfall is a must-visit, you can use the services of Rent a Car agency for a round trip.

Princess of Hope and a Random Sphinx

The Makran Coastal Highway, a surprisingly smooth road, bears the flawless rock formation on both sides. It’s a pleasure to watch this enchanting rock formation. The scenes are mesmerizing even during the car drive. The main attraction of these rock formations is Princess of Hope. It is located almost 190 kilometers away from Karachi.

Angelina Jolie named these rocks as Princess of Hope during her visit to Pakistan back in 2010. These scenes were so mesmerizing that she named these rocks as Princes of Hope. These rocks have a resemblance to the shape of a standing woman.

Hannah Jheel (Hannah Lake and Urrak) – Quetta, Baluchistan

Hannah Lake in winters is all frozen, iced, and astounding. This is the first place where individuals go when they visit Quetta. It is just about 18km away from the city. Local people use this lake as their escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Waadi-e-Bolan – Bolan, Baluchistan

Waadi-e-Bolan is a significant length of a mountain gorge with blue waters running in the middle. The place is quite significant because of its picturesque beauty and historical importance. The first railway system in Pakistan was established here by the British.

Hingol National Park – Hingol, Baluchistan

The Hingol national park is quite famous. It contains exotic looking mountains, rare and fascinating creatures including the Markhor and a few others of the deer family. It is encircled by shallow blue waters. 

Astola Island – Gwadar-Pasni, Balochistan

Astola Island, otherwise called Jezira Haft Talar Satadip or Island of the Seven Hills. It is a little uninhabited Pakistani island in the Arabian Sea. Additionally, it is the biggest island in Pakistan. It is the epitome of the sabotaged beauty of Baluchistan. It is a great vacation spot and tourist attraction.

These are some of the tourist attractions in Baluchistan. But it has a lot to bring to the table. As now we know that Baluchistan has great potential and what it has to offer.

But the question is why they are not as famous as the other areas of Pakistan? Why there is a need to promote tourism in Baluchistan? The answer is very simple. Baluchistan has many attractions that are not as popular as they should be. And even if they are famous, they lack the basic facilities that one needs. 

Baluchistan Tourism Needs Attention

If authorities encourage domestic tourism, then it could generate huge revenues. Following are a few things that we need for tourism:

  • There is an urgent need to improve the infrastructure for tourism.
  • Hotels and motels, high-quality restaurants, and good roads are needed for tourism.
  • Public transports, cars for rent, taxis are also needed in those areas.
  • There should be toilets and restrooms at tourist attractions in Baluchistan to facilitate tourism.
  • There is also a need to promote the breath-taking landscapes and destinations in Baluchistan. Social networks can also be used to market these tourist destinations.
  • Cultural events and financial assistance are also great ways to promote tourism. 
  • Different tourist development projects should be started to attract tourists.
  • Baluchistan also has coastal areas of 45 miles, for example, Gwadar, Pasni, and Jiwani. These can also help to promote tourism.
